I loved 2 Days in New York! This is the first time I've been exposed to the work of Julie Delpy and I have to say I will definitely be seeking out some more of her films. The Closest comparison I can think of to 2 Days in New York would probably be the work of Woody Allen, it has that great mix of laugh out loud comedy and really lovely quiet moments of beauty. The biggest surprise for me was Chris Rock's performance, he plays the character of Mingus so perfectly. I guess I should have expected it after seeing him in Louie. But ok I'll stop gushing. 2 Days in New York  is marvellous and I get the feeling I'm going to be writing a lot more entries this year about Julie Delpy.
