03 / Hatchi: A Dogs Tale / Lasse Hallström

There's not much I can really say about Hatchi to be honest. It's the kind of film that just reaches inside your chest, takes your heart hostage and destroys any capacity for criticism. At least that's what it did to me. The film tells the heartwarming true story of Hatchi the dog, who would wait for his owner outside Shibuya train station every day for his owner, even after his death.  In the film the story has been moved to small town America, which is something that would normally bother me, but, Richard Gere! Cute dog! Tears!
